Scottish health secretary Neil Gray will give a remote address directly to GPs at the free-to-attend Pulse LIVE conference in Glasgow next week.

In addition, Professor Stewart Mercer will attend to talk conference delegates through how health inequalities manifest in general practice consultations and what we can do about them.

The professor of primary care and multimorbidity at the University of Edinburgh is a founding member of the Scottish Deep End Project, which has since grown into an international movement.

The event on 23 October at the SEC also offers up to 4.5 CPD hours, clinical updates from expert speakers, and the chance to connect with GPs from across Scotland.

Other topic highlights include:

  • Chronic cough in children
  • Testosterone deficiency and men’s metabolic health
  • Prescribing change: The power of lifestyle in modern medicine
  • The HRT Annual review- what’s it all about?
