The Bright Ideas Portal has been launched to highlight examples of innovative work in GP practices, by the Clinical Innovation and Research Centre at RCGP (The Royal College of GPs).
The aim is to share innovative work that is taking place in general practice, in order to spread the success elsewhere.
Each example will be a short piece of writing (no more than 1,000 words) explaining the experience the GP practice has had in adopting the Bright Idea and the benefits and learning that has been realised from this experience.
“We want the innovative work in general practice to be recognised, celebrated and shared, and we hope that this will inspire others to both take up practices which have been successful elsewhere and encourage them to start innovative practices themselves,” the Research Centre said in a statement.
Each month three ideas will be uploaded to the website, to assist practice managers and GPs.
