A virtual event to help practice managers prepare for the rollout of local neighbourhood health services will be held by Management in Practice on 11 March.

The programme will cover three main themes – workforce, finance and population health – with sessions intended to provide practical insight and guidance from expert speakers and experienced practice leaders.

The online event for practice managers, GP partners and general practice leaders has been put together to assist them in preparing for the reforms that will come as part of the NHS 10-year health plan.

The sessions will help practice managers ensure their organisations are financially fit, workforce ready and ready for evolving models of care.

Planned content includes sessions on practice-level finances to build resilience and long-term sustainability.

There will also be a focus on population health management and how to embed it into day-to-day general practice.

The event is designed to be flexible, with attendees able to dip in and out of sessions around workload pressures and join only the topics most relevant to their role.

Practice managers can register now to secure a place at the virtual event.

The event is part of a wider programme of free virtual and face-to-face events for UK practice managers, providing updates, education and peer networking.
