NHS Digital has launched a dedicated online community to better understand the experiences of practice managers.

The ‘research community’, which launched this month (July), is for practice managers or those in similar roles with responsibility for data and tech.

It will enable practice managers to share their experiences with NHS Digital through surveys, polls, and online discussion forums.

There will also be open forums for topical issues, where members will be able to have conversations with other practice managers and subject matter expert’ from the wider NHS organisation.

In a practice manager bulletin at the end of June, NHS Digital said the community would ‘help us to better understand how you use data and digital services and identify opportunities for us to improve your experience’.

NHS Digital will be issuing invites to those eligible in the coming weeks and months, but practice managers who want to join can also express their interest by going to the NHS Digital website.

Head of insight, strategy, and planning communications at NHS Digital, Sophie Faulks, said: ‘Our practice manager community launched last week and will provide insights to inform the way we engage with practices.

‘It will be available for practice managers and those with responsibilities around data and technology and will enable members to discuss topical issues and share experiences in a supportive environment. The community forum is in its infancy, but we are excited to have launched it and we hope to see it grow over the coming months.’
