Management in Practice is hosting a new one-day online event aimed at exploring how AI and tech can effectively assist with the everyday running of GP surgeries.
And it’s not just designed with the most tech-savvy in mind – the AI & Tech for General Practice virtual conference will provide know-how and guidance for practice managers and GPs at practice or PCN level who have little experience with digital or who feel apprehensive about embracing this change.
The free event, held on Tuesday 29 April, brings together experts in digital health who will share concrete examples of how AI and technology is being used in general practice to reduce surgeries’ administrative burden, streamline appointment bookings, enhance patient records, and free up more time to care.
Sessions include:
- Practical suggestions for integrating AI into your practice and a look at how it is already being used effectively in surgeries
- Tips for practice managers on how to create a ‘digital practice’ and what financial benefits it brings
- Using tech to reduce the number of missed appointment and automate processes
- How to manage staff and patients reluctant to adopt digital tools
- A panel discussion on the future for digital practices.
There will be an opportunity for participants to put questions to speakers about any issues they have. Chairing will be Lorna Laflin, deputy lead, Primary Care Development Programme, at the RCGP.
Topics and themes will also be relevant for other primary care managers, digital transformation leads, PCNs and ICB staff.
The Management in Practice virtual event adds to our 2025 line up of face to face conferences taking place in Manchester, Birmingham, London and Newcastle.
The new online conference event offers our audience the chance to attend lively, informative sessions from anywhere in the UK without the inconvenience having to travel.
