Updated legislation due to be enforced later this year will ensure that all healthcare professionals have relevant insurance or indemnity to cover their practice.

Employers and managers could be faced with questions from staff over the type and level of cover provided by their employment, according to NHS Employers.

NHS Employers has developed a Q&A page together with the unions and professional regulators.

The Q&A is available to view on the NHS Employers website
