The entry deadline for the Management in Practice Awards 2010 has now closed, but thank you to all of you who submitted an entry this year. The tough process of whittling down entries to a final shortlist has begun, and those who have made it to that shortlist will soon be invited to meet with the awards judges to discuss their achievements.
The judges will then decide upon the winners of each category, who will be announced at a special ceremony hosted at the Management in Practice Birmingham Event on 20 October at the National Exhibition Centre.
Designed to champion general practice, these awards are an opportunity for practice managers and their teams to share their success stories with peers, to tell others of how their hard work and innovation has benefited their patients, and to celebrate these achievements in a mutually supportive environment. Through the MiP Awards, we hope to help empower practice teams by giving a platform to practice-led success stories.
This year’s Management in Practice Awards include two new categories – the Practice Manager of the Year Award and the Commissioning Award. You can read full details of these awards, plus news and features on the 2009 winners, at www.managementinpractice.com/awards
