An outline agenda has been released for the inaugural Community Pharmacy and General Practice Conference, and will include a look at GP-pharmacy friction points and building an effective GP-pharmacy partnership.
Taking place at the National Conference Centre, Birmingham on 21–22 June 2026, the free, CPD-accredited two-day event is delivered in partnership with Management in Practice and the National Pharmacy Association.

Each day will open with a full-audience plenary session. Day one begins with Team primary care: Uniting general practice and community pharmacy, while day two focuses on Neighbourhood first: How, together, general practice and community pharmacy can transform primary care.
Agenda highlights across the two days include:

- Developing integrated care pathways across primary care
- Building effective GP-pharmacy partnerships· Redesigning access: total triage and the future front door.
The programme also includes the National Pharmacy Association Members’ Forum, GP Pharmacy in Focus with the Primary Care Pharmacy Association, a dedicated Networking Zone running across both days, and an evening drinks reception.
Worth 10 CPD points, the conference is free to attend and aims to provide insight for primary care professionals navigating rising demand and workforce pressures.
