New guidance for creating a healthy workplace

New healthy workplace guidance has been officially endorsed by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) as an evidence based resource to help implement the NICE workplace guidance.

The toolkit, produced by NHS Employers, aims to support the improvement of staff health and wellbeing by providing practical tips and step-by-step information on how to implement the six pieces of NICE workplace guidance.

The toolkit supports the recommendations in the NICE guidelines on long-term sickness absence and incapacity to workmental wellbeing at workobesity preventionsmoking: workplace interventionsphysical activity in the workplace and physical activity and the environment.
