Management in Practice is set to return to Birmingham this week (12 May) for its first live event of the year.

The one-day, free-to-attend conference is designed specifically for those involved in running GP surgeries, federations, PCNs and other primary care services. It will welcome practice managers, GP partners and administration teams to the National Conference Centre in Birmingham.

On the day, the CQC will give an update on what’s new for primary care regulation. Other sessions will cover topics such as GP wellbeing, being an introvert in medical leadership, the opportunities that Covid vaccinations can bring, QOF and LGBTQ+/gender identity inclusion in general practice.

Alejandra Campos, events director at Cogora, said: ‘We have recruited a fantastic line-up of speakers for this event who have planned engaging and informative presentations that we feel will give practice managers, GP partners, and their teams tangible, useful takeaways that can be put into practice straightaway.’

Speakers for the Birmingham conference include GP partner in Wales Dr Anish Kotecha, GP in Northumberland Dr David Morris, chief medical officer of Manchester and Trafford Local Care Organisation, Dr Sohail Munshi and GP partner in Brighton, Dr Sam Hall.
