A new health centre is to open in Cornwall to provide enhanced services for local people.
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall will attend the official opening of the Integrated Health Centre in Truro.
Camilla, who is the patron of the Cornwall Community Foundation, and Prince Charles will travel to Truro’s new Integrated Health Centre, where they will meet local school children who have been involved with the project.
The pair will officially open the centre before visiting the canteen where a reception for donors and supporters will take place.
Work on the drop-in centre began in December and once fully up and running it will support pupils’ health, both physically and mentally, by offering advice on everything from drugs to sexual health.
As well as opening the centre, Charles and Camilla will first travel to Lostwithiel, where they will visit The Old Duchy Palace, St Bartholomew’s Church and Lostwithiel Museum before going to the Mayor’s Parlour.

“If by ‘integrated healthcare’ you mean that evidence-based medicine will be mixed up with treatments lacking in an evidence base, such as homoeopathy, acupuncture, aromatherapy, bioresonance therapy, most chiropractic, most herbalism, sympathetic magic and radionics, then plainly no. I find it no surprise that a royal who mourns the loss of empire should wish to inflict such ungrounded therapies on his subjects, as if downgraded the NHS in this manner will mean affordable but ineffective treatment for all.
