A new online NHS job search facility is to be launched for Yorkshire, which will feature nonmedical vacancies.
Graduates Yorkshire and NHS Yorkshire and the Humber have agreed to launch the new website, which will offer vacancies across finance, HR, communications, construction and purchasing management.
NHS Yorkshire and the Humber employs more than 140,000 people across 37 organisations, and the new “microsite” – to be hosted on the main Graduates Yorkshire website – will offer graduates the ability to find jobs relevant to them.
The new web facility will offer graduates a chance to explore the benefits of working in the NHS through case studies, an online guide and a search facility.
Martin Edmonson, Chief Executive of Graduates Yorkshire, said: “The NHS is the largest employer in Yorkshire and the Humber, and we have a strong presence in the graduate community that the NHS is trying to reach.
“Graduates Yorkshire doesn’t just target recent graduates, and the new site will also appeal to graduates already in employment who are looking to further progress their careers in an organisation like the NHS.”
